In the deepest sub-sea wedding ceremony ever performed, officiated by senior submersible pilot Troy Engen, Triton Submarines employees Mathew Jordan and Alexandra Gottschall exchanged vows last week in a Triton 3300/3 MKII submersible, at a depth of 1000 meters (3,300ft) off the coast of New Providence in the Bahamas.

Mathew and Alexandra also have the distinction of being trainee Triton submersible pilots, with Alexandra being Triton’s first female pilot.
