183m REV Ocean to receive world-first Triton submersible

Set to begin sea trials in the coming days, the world’s deepest-diving three-person acrylic submersible has been unveiled in Spain. Once complete, she will join the mothership at the Vard facilities in Brattvaag, Norway.

The entire REV Ocean team was on site at the sub’s build facilities to christen the submersible. It will be named Aurelia, a name that means ‘golden one’.
