James Cameron’s ascent from Challenger Deep took a remarkably short 7o minutes! The submersible was safely recovered and we now anxiously await the footage from Challenger Deep. The Triton team is grateful to Mr. Cameron for breaking new ground and bringing much needed attention to the ocean.
