The vertical configuration of the Triton 36,000/3 allows for a high rate of descent and ascent. The deepest spot in the ocean at 35,800 feet can be reached in approximately two hours. Deigned as a relatively light-weight vehicle with a minimum deck footprint, the Triton 36,000/3 is designed for extreme marine tourism, scientific or commercial work with minimal support equipment and personnel.
